About Habib

I am an industrial and automotive designer. After getting my Bachelor degree with honors in industrial design in my native country in Belgium at ESA Saint-Luc Liège, I decided it was time for me to discover a different vision of design in another country and do the most difficult sector of it, the automotive one. After being accepted at SPD Milano in Italy, I did a year of bridging to get into the level required for the automotive design in order to start my Master in transport design, which was successfully completed with high distinction. During my Master degree, I was sponsored by 3 branches of the Volkswagen group which are Lamborghini, Italdesign and Ducati. In addition, I won the italdesign competition which turned my project into a 1/3 scale model.
Today I should be at Italdesign working, but COVID has to decide otherwise. I am therefore taking advantage of my free time to share with you my passion and my skills acquired intensely during my long journey of 6 years between Belgium and Italy. I let you judge my work through my different projects.

Being passionate about photos for several years, I also acquired advanced skills for photo retouching through Photoshop and Lightroom.

About the lesson

Hello,

Regarding my teaching method, everything depends on your expectations and your level.
Nevertheless, there is scheme to be respected in our profession of designer.

The process and the steps to follow in the design of a car (or all types of design objects) are:

-THE THEME and the documentation on that. Here we will talk in particular about the history of the chosen car brand, its DNA-formal language, and the choice of the architecture of our vehicle in question. -INSPIRATIONS: how to build an efficient and homogeneous Moodboard (indesign and Illustrator in this process)
-DOODLES and SPEEDFORMS: first small sketches by hand or on a graphic tablet. Learning car drawing, the reflexes and the right lines for a good dynamic sketch.
-The KEY SKETCH: After finding the idea, make more detailed and complete sketches.
-PHOTOSHOP COLORING: highlight your ideas and your final car with an artistic rendering on Photoshop.
-3D MODELING: Transcribe its sketches in 3d format by a good understanding and mastery of surfaces on ALIAS Autodesk in Nurbs or Polygon. Alias is the 3d program mostly used in the automotive industry.
-3D RENDERING: Highlight your modeling with a rendering approaching reality on Vred or Keyshot to give a professional aspect to your project.

I therefore offer you courses on:
- perspective and hand drawing: learning dynamic drawing line and its own style
- drawing on a graphic tablet with Sketchbook pro or Photoshop. -the creation of moodboards or Portfolio on Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
-artistic rendering on Photoshop (all levels)
-Autodesk alias for 3D (all levels)
-Vred and Keyshot for renderings (all levels)
-Photoshop and Lightroom: Photographic Retouching (all levels)

Regarding the support, I have 2 professional WACOM graphics tablets which will be at your disposal.

Regarding the language, lessons can be given in English or French (my lessons in Italy were in English). I still recommend English to learn the technical language around the subject in question if you want to work in a car design studio.

For 5hours Pack : 30euros of discount
For 10hours Pack : 50euros of discount
If in a group, we will decrease the prices for sure.

If I need to move to your place, I advice you to take 2hours straight.

For industrial/automotive classes, the prices are the one showed.
If more intensely 3d classes, the price is 35euros/h

According anything else like Photoshop and Lightroom retouching for Photography and images, the price is 25euros/h.
