About HARRIET

Teaching is in my blood - I'm the daughter of a teacher, and I've always been passionate about helping others learn and grow. With an MBA from a UK university and 10 years as a flight attendant having visited over 100 countries, I bring a unique, global perspective to every lesson. My extensive travel experience has given me deep insight into the challenges of communicating across cultures and the confidence that comes from mastering a new language. I've worked with people from every corner of the world, and I understand firsthand how empowering it is to express yourself clearly and naturally in English. What I love most about teaching is breaking down complex ideas into digestible, easy-to-understand bite-sized pieces. Whether it's tricky grammar rules, business terminology, or conversation skills, I make learning feel approachable and achievable. My greatest joy is watching my students succeed, seeing that "aha!" moment when everything clicks, and witnessing their growing confidence as they reach their goals. A Typical Lesson Plan
- Each 60-minute lesson follows a dynamic structure designed to maximize your learning:
- Warm-up (10 minutes)
- We start with casual conversation about your week, current events, or topics you're passionate about. This gets you thinking in English and builds confidence.
- Focused Learning (25 minutes)

We dive into your specific goals, whether that's mastering tricky grammar points, expanding vocabulary for your field, preparing for presentations, or practicing pronunciation. I use relevant examples and interactive activities to make concepts clear and memorable.

Practice & Application (20 minutes)
You put new skills into action through role-plays, discussions, writing exercises, or real-world scenarios. This is where learning becomes automatic.

Review & Homework (5 minutes)
- We recap key takeaways and I provide optional practice materials tailored to reinforce what we've covered.
- Every lesson adapts to your pace and needs; some days we might focus entirely on conversation, other days on writing or exam preparation.
