About Jo
I currently substitute teach, and have taught at both the collegiate level (a smidge) and a full school year as a high school cyber security teacher teaching four separate levels of cyber security and the first level of engineering. At the collegiate level I taught as part of my TA position where I often tutored students, and was able to help them understand concepts they were finding it difficult to understand, giving applicable real world examples whenever possible.
As a Marine vet, I don’t give up on the mission, and the mission here is your success.
And, in case it’s a dealbreaker for anyone, I am trans (and if we get into present day politics I cannot promise the impartial political beliefs teachers are supposed to honor, hopefully understandably).

One of my greatest passions in life is sharing knowledge because it is power, power against disinformation, those who wish to bamboozle you, and even just for fun (which I will try to inject into my sessions). I’ve tutored at both high school and college levels, and would prefer to keep tutoring at those levels.
