About Emerson
I started off like you. I had no training and no idea where to start. Luckily for you, you found Superprof! I was trained privately by a pro, broadway level singer over the course of several years. I started off quiet, shy, and with a lot of breaks and cracks in my voice. Over the years I've gained the skills necessary to say that I am now known for my loud, strong bari-tenor voice. I am so excited to teach you the skills necessary to get to where you can sing in musicals or perform live without ever worrying about how you sound. Together, we are going to turn you into a confident, competent singer!

About the lesson

- We will start with the basics, training the voice and teaching technique. Which will include basic exercises
- As we move forward, we begin working on simple songs which will put those new techniques into practice
- I believe in the wisdom of our elders when it comes to singing; "A relaxed singer will always sing better." So we will make these lessons as enjoyable and laid back as possible. We will even cover some stretches to relax the tension before you sing.
- My lessons are for beginners looking to improve and learn basic skills. You won't be learning opera in my class! These are just the basics, to start you off training and strengthening your voice for the next step.
