About Miriam
I am Miriam 26 years old and currently live in Berlin.
Throughout the last years, I traveled the world and lived in Spain, Peru and Mexico for a longer periods of time. My main interests are foreign cultures, their languages and food, literature and poetry and the oceans. I enjoy outdoor sports, yoga, reading and pottery.
Besides my interest in the foreign world, I am in love with the German language and especially with German literature and poetry.
I am a very patient person with a good sense of humor, passionate about everything that can be done outdoors and in nature.

The one-to-one tuition enables me to precisely recognize the personalities, needs and learning techniques of my students and to adapt the lessons accordingly. Together we develop learning goals, larger and smaller ones, which then dominate the topic of the lesson. I will accompany you on the way to achieving these goals. I have a lot of materials, texts, assignments, books, stories, songs, and poems to help with this.
What exactly is the content of the lessons depends entirely on your goals, interests and wishes. When designing my lessons, I like to respond to my students and get to know them in this way.
My goal is to pass the passion of learning and especially speaking a foreign language! It can be so rewarding and a lot of fun and therefore it shouldn't be just an other obligation.
I will create each class individually, depending on your level, interests and motivation. Together we can figure out the best learning method for you.
Depending on your level of German, I mainly teach through conversations, reading and active writing.
Grammar classes usually have a different structure: I give a short explanation and work with exercises and tasks that help you understand the reason behind the rule. Depending on your time I like to work with homework, especially if there's grammar to learn.
Rather it is working on your communication and vocabulary skills, writing formal or informal texts, reading or discussing articles, just get into speaking or preparing for a job interview, an exam or just reaching the next level, I am here to help you to achieve your goals and show you the beauty of the German language.
