About SREYA
I am a trained kathak dancer. I started learning kathak at the age of 5. Ghungroo is my love and my passion too. Indian classical dance forms are my root although I love to teach, learn and perform any form of dance. I can teach Kathak, Rabindrinritya, Folk dance, Bollywood dance, wedding choreography as well. I have completed 5th year exam in Kathak with distinction in both theory and practical. I feel blessed that I got the opportunity to meet with "Kathak ke Bhagwan" (God of Kathak) Pandit Birju Maharaj ji; with his blessings I am still continuing with my passion. I have participated in so many competition both as a solo performer and in groups as well and won so many of them. I consider dance as my passion, something which can give me immense peace.

According to me dance is fun and anything, any music you can enjoy you can dance on that. So my funda is simple that first teach the basics and teach the root of mine i.e. Kathak. I am sure that after learning these my students will be able to choreograph any dance by themselves only. Along with kathak I am also very fond of Bollywood dance and will teach that also. I take classes in Google meet. Dance has no restrictions, so you are of any age, feel free to contact me anytime..:)
