About Cheryl

I have been teaching yoga in Canada for over 15 years and also managed two well-known yoga studios in Toronto. I currently have a private practice that I am maintaining from the UK, while still seeing and teaching my students in Canada. It is important to me that every student feels comfortable in my yoga sessions, no matter their perceived student levels. Yoga is not just about your body - it is primarily a tool to help us discover more about ourselves and the beautiful synergy that is created between the mind (meditation), body and breath (prana) within this practice, to promote, among other things, well-being, to relieve stress and reduce anxiety, so we are able to function in this everchanging world.

About the lesson

My private yoga sessions are traditionally one hour in duration and focus on breath, alignment, strength and meditation. Sessions are adapted to fit the student level and your own personal objectives within each session. I teach all levels, including both Pre and Post Natal yoga sessions (normally 45 or 60 mins sessions, depending on your preference) and Yoga for Adults and Children with Special Needs (30 to 45 mins sessions are available as options).
