About Iyon

I'm a current college Division II Pro level player with Adelphi University, with a competitive background that includes FA Euro NY MLS NEXT and experience in the Mumbai City FC Academy system. Having trained and competed in demanding environments, I understand the importance of technical quality, tactical awareness, physical preparation, discipline, and confidence.

As a tutor, I aim to create a professional, positive, and challenging learning environment where every player feels supported while being encouraged to reach their potential. I take an individual approach to coaching, adapting sessions to each player's strengths, weaknesses, and goals. My focus is not only on improving performance on the ball, but also on developing decision making, game intelligence, work ethic, and confidence.

I believe every player can improve with the right guidance, consistency, and mindset. My goal is to share my experience, provide constructive feedback, and help each student become a more complete player on and off the field.

About the lesson

With experience competing at the D1 Level, MLS NEXT level, and training in the Mumbai City FC Academy system, I understand the dedication, discipline, and quality of training required to develop as a soccer player. I build resilient players who want to play at that level.

My sessions focus on developing players technically, tactically, physically, and mentally. Training can include ball mastery, first touch, dribbling, passing, finishing, 1v1 situations, speed, agility, positioning, decision making, and confidence under pressure.

Each session is tailored to the player's age, current ability, and individual goals, combining structured drills with realistic game situations to help translate improvements into matches.

Whether you're a beginner building a strong foundation or a competitive player aiming to reach the next level, my goal is to help you become a more complete, confident, and effective player.

All skill levels welcome. Let's work together to take your game to the next level!

Iyon is a fantastic soccer coach. He has been training my son and the improvement in his skills, technique, and overall game has been amazing to see. Beyond just technical progress, Iyon has built up my son’s confidence on and off the field. Iyon is patient, encouraging, and truly cares about his students' growth. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled, dedicated, and supportive trainer.
