About Caetano
Born on the Isle of Skye, I grew up playing traditional music, regularly attending local sessions. After studying at Plockton Music School of excellence in Traditional music, I moved to Glasgow where, for the past 4 years I have been a regular session host playing alongside Scotland's finest musicians. I play Guitar in the band Falasgair, 2024 Na trads up and coming band of the year. I am fascinated by music theory and draw inspiration from all sources, blues, jazz, country, world music etc.; every genre has something unique and useful to share when it comes to creating interesting accompaniments. I have lots of experience both in arranging and improvising. In my lessons I hope to share what I have learned in my career so far, I believe I have a great deal to share.
