About Thabisa
I was born and raised in South Africa, and currently live in the City of Johannesburg. I am a student at the University of Witswatersrand, in South Africa, Johannesburg. I started to tutor English to primary leaners during my high school years, in informal settings. Seeing the language barriers growing up, especially in a place where ones home language is the only dominant language, the difficulties experienced by younger leaners and adults is what motivated me into helping students learn better writing, reading and communication skills.

As a native English speaker and teacher, conversational and fun lessons are some of the things you can look forward to. In my lessons we are all about learning English with confidence, so do not be afraid of making mistakes in the process because that is how we learn. I teach English from beginner level up to advanced level, so our lesson are going to be focused on pronunciation and grammar for starters. I look forward to conversing with students in the English language and having relaxed and fun lessons!
