About Jessica
I’m Jessica Nagalia Setiawan, better known as Zerist, an avant-garde fashion designer and dedicated art educator. I have a strong educational background, with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design from the University of Hertfordshire (2022-2023) and a Diploma in Fashion Design from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (2018-2021). I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Art Education at Boston University (2024-2026).
With over 3 years of experience as a Fashion Design Instructor at Northern Light Academy, I have guided students in preparing their fashion portfolios. In addition, I serve as the Director of Zerist Studio Art & Design. My diverse professional experience includes working backstage for Louis Vuitton’s SS21 Show and interning at Smoke by Shou Sugi Ban Gallery in Singapore. I enjoy combining creativity, leadership, and my expertise in both fashion design and art education.

Best Graduate Award (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Sep 2021): Awarded for achieving the highest academic performance for the Diploma in Fashion Design cohort.
Best Studentship Award (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Sep 2021): Recognized for exemplary behavior and as a role model for the School of Art and Design cohort.
FLAGSHIP GENIUS FEATURING AYUTTHAYA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Nov 2020): Participated in an interdisciplinary art exhibition.
Second Winner in Painting (Indonesian Embassy, Oct 2020): Second place in a painting competition celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Indonesian Military in Singapore.
Dean's List Award (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, 2018-2021): Recognized for excellent academic performance across several semesters during the Diploma in Fashion Design.
Best Costume in Deutsch Parade (SMAN 15 Surabaya, Jan 2017): Created the best costume for the Deutsch Parade, recognized by a journalist and awarded as the best costume.
Winner in 3D Wall Magazine Competition (St. Paul Catholic High School Jember, Jan 2015): Won the annual 3D Wall Magazine Competition.
