About Katlego

Hi, I’m a first-time tutor and a university student currently studying law. I matriculated in 2025 as top of my class with an 89% final mark, and Tourism is a subject I genuinely enjoy. This year I tutored current matric learners at my former high school during the winter holidays, and I loved seeing their confidence grow once a topic finally made sense.

I became a tutor because I remember how stressful matric felt, and I know how much a patient, clear explanation can help. I’m friendly, well prepared and committed to helping you reach your goals. I’ll explain things simply, give honest feedback and make sure you feel ready on exam day.

About the lesson

I matriculated in 2025 as top of my class, finishing with an 89% final mark in Tourism, so I know exactly what it takes to do well in this subject. Tourism can feel like a lot of content to memorise, so my lessons focus on understanding it: we’ll work through map work, tourism sectors, sustainable and responsible tourism, and case studies, and I’ll show you how to structure answers that earn full marks.

This year I tutored current matric learners at my former high school during the winter holidays, so I’m familiar with the latest exam format and the areas learners struggle with most. A typical lesson starts with a quick recap, moves into a clear explanation of one topic, and ends with past-paper practice and feedback. Lessons are in English and suit Grade 10 to 12 learners who want to build confidence and improve their marks.
