About David

Hello everyone, and welcome to my profile!

I am a language teacher specializing in English, German and French, and I hold Master's degrees from the University of Rennes II and the University of Glasgow.

With a strong academic background and experience living abroad in the United Kingdom, Germany and Austria, my teaching combines solid academic foundations with first-hand knowledge of the culture and authentic language use of these countries, acquired through extended stays abroad.

My lessons are tailored to the specific needs of each learner.

I offer:

- Exam and certification preparation (Baccalauréat, DELF, TOEFL, TOEIC, Goethe-Zertifikat, TestDaF)
- Academic support at school and university level
- Language development for professional purposes and relocation abroad
- Improvement of speaking skills and conversational fluency

My approach begins with an initial assessment of the learner's level and objectives, allowing me to build a targeted and progressive learning programme.

I am available for an initial conversation to assess your needs and discuss the most suitable approach for your lessons.

About the lesson

Having had to obtain an English certification myself in order to study at a British university, I know the requirements of these exams from first-hand experience, and I am here to help you work towards success.

My 50-minute lessons are fully tailored to your current level and the exam you are preparing for. We work on the four essential skills assessed in English certification exams:

Speaking (production and interaction)
Listening (active listening and identifying key information)
Reading (analysis and reading speed)
Writing (structured and well-supported writing)

The first lesson consists of a comprehensive skills assessment, allowing me to accurately evaluate your current level and identify the areas that need the most work. We can then build a personalised preparation plan adapted to the amount of time you have left before the exam.

Throughout the programme, you will benefit from targeted exercises, exam-style practice, and regular progress monitoring.
