About Yaira
I am a dynamic writer and voracious reader with an array of knowledge on politics, culture and society. No topic is taboo or too far off. I love to research, write and think deeply with a light hearted and open minded approach.
An Art Historian by training and Communications pro by trade, I love dense and simple texts alike and thrive in interpretation and synthesis. I love exploring new restaurants, talking strolls with a variety of beverages and joining every community I can belong to. While I am a Massachusetts native, I have lived and traveled abroad learning about human rights in Latin America and Africa. I also speak Spanish!

As a Communications professional with 6 years of experience writing for an array of audiences, I bring dynamic experience with everything from critical analysis to op-Ed’s to term papers.
My goal is to define your strengths as a writer, nail a voice and create a writing and editorial process that feels natural, easy and repeatable. Whether small spelling challenges arise or difficulty in organizing your thoughts persist, my lessons are meant to refine your skills and leave you with pieces of writing you’re proud of for admissions, school or personal projects.
