About Ami
My first language is Spanish and I speak perfect English. I was born in America but my parents weren't. I saw how much they struggled every single day trying to speak. It would even make my mother upset, very sad, or embarrassed. I want to help everyone and that's the reason I chose this job. I want to teach my students that even if you have an accent, that doesn't define you. I want all of my students to know that because you have an accent, it is a beautiful thing. Just like you're learning English, the world should be open to learning your language. I am a very caring person, very patient, and very understanding. I graduated high school and I am currently in college.

I will teach you words, sentences, how to read, and I will also teach you how to be more confident when speaking to an English speaker. I want everyone to understand what they're saying. I want everyone to learn the most important emergency words and words that are essential to life, for example, " help me, I need you, I'm in danger, or I am hurt. " These words are very essential. I also have many more that I can teach you guys. I also want to teach you how to read. I just want to make the world a better place. Coming from a Caribbean background, I believe I will be the best fit to become your teacher.
