About Kelly
I’m a third-year Psychology student at the University of Greenwich, currently working towards a First-Class degree. I’ve always been fascinated by Psychology and how it can help us understand people, behaviour and the world around us. I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy explaining ideas and helping others gain confidence in subjects they may initially find difficult.
Throughout my degree, I have developed a strong understanding of a wide range of psychological topics, including Social Psychology, Psychopathology and Clinical Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology and research methods. I have also gained extensive experience writing academic essays, analysing research and completing laboratory reports.
I understand that Psychology can sometimes feel overwhelming, particularly when there is a lot of research, terminology and evaluation to remember. My aim is to make the subject feel much more manageable by breaking complicated topics down into clear, understandable ideas and helping students develop the confidence to apply what they know.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Whether you need help understanding a particular topic, preparing for an exam or improving your essay technique, I’ll work with you to find an approach that suits you.

I use clear explanations, examples, active recall and practice questions to help students understand and remember key concepts. We can focus on difficult topics, exam technique, essay structure and evaluation. Lessons are typically 1 hour and are suitable for GCSE and A-Level Psychology students. As a third-year Psychology student currently working towards a First-Class degree, I have extensive university-level experience across a wide range of psychological topics and academic research.
