I am a third year education student in foundation phase and am also currently in my second year of psychology. I tutor children at Luthandu house (an orphanage) as a form of volunteer work.

I start from concrete learning by making use of physical objects that learners can manipulate and active learning before moving to a more abstract (conceptual) form of learning. I make use of an interactive and holistic approach to teaching. I like to teach in a fun and encouraging way and provide learners with guidance and support through each learning stage.
