Hello! My name is John, and I’m a third-year Economics student at City University of London, currently achieving First Class Honours. I’m fluent in both French and English, and originally moved to the UK to pursue my passion for Economics. I’ve recently received an offer to study for my Master’s in Economics at the University of College London, which I’ll be starting next year — a step I’m very excited about as I continue to deepen my understanding of economic theory and policy. I’m particularly passionate about microeconomics and macroeconomics, and I enjoy helping students make sense of how economic concepts apply to real-world situations. Whether you’re studying A-Level Economics or an undergraduate degree, I can help you develop confidence, analytical skills, and a strong grasp of key economic principles.

About the lesson

I offer tailored lessons for A-Level and undergraduate students, focusing on helping learners build a clear understanding of economic theory, analytical reasoning, and exam technique. My teaching approach is interactive and adapted to each student’s goals — whether it’s mastering supply and demand analysis, understanding market failures, or interpreting macroeconomic indicators. Having recently gone through the same academic challenges, I can explain concepts in a relatable and accessible way, helping students not only improve their grades but also genuinely enjoy economics. Subjects taught: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Economic Theory, and Applied Economics. Levels: A-Level, Undergraduate (Bachelor’s).
Having direct experience with these exam formats, I can help students prepare effectively, improve their exam technique, and succeed in coursework and problem sets. I adapt my teaching to the specific requirements of UK university economics programmes.
