About Mogau

I am a third-year BCom student with a strong background in Mathematics and Accounting, and I am passionate about helping learners understand these subjects in a simpler and more practical way. I have always enjoyed working through problems and explaining solutions to others in a way that makes sense, which is what led me to become interested in tutoring.

My interest in teaching comes from my own experience as a student. I understand how frustrating it can be when a topic does not make sense in class or when you feel left behind. I have also experienced how much easier learning becomes when someone explains it in a clear, patient, and step-by-step way. Because of this, I want to be that support for other students.

I am motivated by seeing students improve their confidence and marks over time. For me, teaching is not just about completing work it is about helping someone finally understand something they have been struggling with and seeing that “lightbulb moment” when it clicks.

I am especially interested in teaching Mathematics and Accounting to high school learners because these are subjects where many students need extra support. My goal is to make learning less stressful, more understandable, and more manageable for every student I work with.

My teaching style is patient and step-by-step. I break down difficult concepts into small, understandable parts and show you how to solve problems in a way that actually makes sense, not just memorizing formulas. I also use real exam-style questions so you know exactly how to apply what you’ve learned when it really matters.

You can expect a relaxed, supportive learning environment where you are not judged for asking questions. Every lesson is tailored to your level, whether you are trying to pass, improve your marks, or aim for higher grades.

I teach in clear English and focus on building your confidence, not just your marks. My goal is simple: to help you understand your work properly so you can walk into your exams prepared and confident.
