About Karen
From secretary, to sales then marketing, leading small business to stay sustainable. Now facilitating/teaching all ages in our colourful exciting world of food, health, diet, life skills, food technology and a bit of science, well read, well rehearsed and very passionate! My commercial background over 20 years with a proven track record developing good people skills, event organising, promotions and general business practices. With an OU science foundation led me to study for a teacher's degree to teach food technology enjoying great opportunities with young primary children setting up a food department from scratch in the school - (this had never been done before). Whilst my teacher training is with further education I enjoy facilitating all ages. My headmaster said my energy and passion was incredibly engaging and my popularity grew within the school both teachers and students. I also lecture on food hygiene, well being and life skills, although I hate the word lecture receiving great comments from members of the audience stating, ‘if my Friday meetings could be like this every week I would love it’! I’m not your ordinary teacher as my real concern is ensuring students get the most out of their lessons.

Usually £25.00 / hourly sessions 5 sessions or more will reduce rate to £20.00 / hour Welcome visits to you - depending on distance if over 5 miles, I would ask for travel expenses.
