About Lucy
I am a passionate post-graduate student, about to start my Master of Arts in The Classical World and its Reception at King's College London! Although my specialism is in Classical Reception, having studied Classical Civilisations at A-Level and in my Undergraduate degree, I am confident in the foundations of the subject! My entry into Classics was through Latin GCSE, however I took a break from the ancient world during my first year of sixth form, where I studied Performing Arts full time. In my second year, I realised that classics was my true passion, and taught myself the A-Level Classical Civilisations curriculum in 7 months. Because of this, I feel confident in tutoring others, as I know what it takes to learn outside of the classroom!

I'm happy to help students in any area they might need assistance with, be it religion, politics, literature, or art! I am familiar with the Classical Civilisations A-Level curriculum (having done it myself), and the history part of Latin exams, having studied Latin at GCSE and in the first year of my degree. I am happy to teach for any length of time to suit, for any age! As a new tutor, I'm eager to learn more about what works, so I look forward to listening to the needs of the tutee and building engaging lesson plans from there.
