Hi there! I am employed as an English Language & Academic Skills Tutor for the University of Brighton International College. My job is to ensure students successfully graduate from the college onto their degree progammes at Brighton University. I have been employed in this capacity for two and a half years, prior to which I spent three years teaching English as a Foreign Language (IELTS, FCE and CAE). I mostly teach students aged 18-30 ranging from pre-intermediate to proficiency levels.
I was educated at an independent school taking A-levels in English, History and Economics/Politics. I have a Bachelors (Hons) degree in Japanese Language and Tourism Management (Oxford Brookes) and a Masters degree in English Language Teaching - Cambridge DELTA embedded: Merit - (Sussex University).
I am hard working and dedicated to my profession. I am a motivational tutor who excels at getting the best out of my students. I have an easy going manner and I like my lessons to be interesting an entertaining.
