About Slick
Previous trumpet/brass instructor at Boyle Heights Youth Orchestra. Previous Brass/trumpet instructor at Theodore Roosevelt High School. Studied trumpet at UCLA. Currently freelance trumpet player and teacher. I've been teaching students of ages 5 all the way up to adulthood. I pride myself in my ability to problem solve and my ability to find bad habits and fix them.

I always make sure my students are prepared and confident in themselves and their musicianship. My philosophy as a tutor or teacher is to help my student grow, and learn to be a capable and happy musician. However I hope to instill a thirst for knowledge and improvement that'll help motivate my students to go off on their own ventures as musicians and even teachers. I have always loved teaching. Teaching has always been as important to me as my friends my hobbies and even my family. I take teaching trumpet and music seriously because its my hobby, my passion and my dream job.
