About Marcin
After graduating from CJ Lim's Unit 10 at the Bartlett (RIBA Part II), UCL, with Distinction and awarded the Bartlett Medal, and gained my Architect RIBA Part III Certificate from the University of Cambridge, I've had the privilege of working with award winning practices across London, notably Fosters & Partners and Grimshaw Architects. My experience as a qualified architect covers a variety of scales and typologies, ranging from residential, commercial office, retail, transport infrastructure, and stadia, notably Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
I've contributed to the published work such as CJ Lim's Inhabitable Infrastructures: Science Fiction or Urban Future, and contributed to the built environment at various scales such as urban installations, retail display, residential and commercial developments and public installations.
My work has been published in the Architect's Journal, Dezeen, ArchDaily and exhibited in RA and the Building Centre, London.
I enjoy engaging with young and emerging architects at both a professional and academic capacities. I'm a returning guest crit at Part I and II levels in various London universities, I've mentored fourth year Bartlett students, and assisted in reviewing entries to the Bartlett Part 1 course.

With experience in academic teaching and professional mentoring for the Bartlett, Unit 10, and the National University of Singapore's Summer Design Workshops, Part I and Part II design guest crit, and Grimshaw's youth mentorship program, I've assisted many young and aspiring architects to articulate and visualise their design, many of which have continued their studies in the Bartlett, AA, and the University of Toronto.
The key areas I can assist in are:
DESIGN VISUALISATION - helping student convey ideas and realise their architecture such as final drawings (composition and colour) or key design boards, portfolio and presentation documents, model making
DESIGN CONCEPTS - assist students in finding their political position and building a project brief
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT - finding forms and articulating space
TECHNICAL SKILLS - drawing, model making, and essay / dissertation reviews.
ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL APPLICATIONS - develop comprehensive portfolios, CVs, and presentation documents
I believe architectural education and design should be fun, engaging, accessible, and (at times) politically and culturally provocative. As architecture takes on many forms, I aim to engage, explore, and adapt my approach to various design processes and encourage drawing, writing, and model making.
I'm ready to work at any pace and skill to help students achieve their goals. The first session will begin as a discussion to structure the tutorials to meet your needs and targets.
