About Melody
I am a young vibrant and energetic certified English and kindergarten teacher. I have a strong customer relations personality with the ability to work as a team and or alone. I am efficient with Microsoft Office and have a strong admin back ground from my promotional work. I am hungry and eager to learn. I am a fast learner who works well under pressure.
I have been a teacher for 6 years+. I've taught children from the ages of 1 to 5 years old. I have a 2 year old son and I absolutely love him.
I am very good with kids, and I have numerous parents who can rate my teaching skills and give a good reference

Hey guys, I am sure you know by now that I have a very versatile way of teaching.
I have 3 main teaching styles I use with my students:
1. Communicative language teaching (CLT) - I aim to put students in a variety of real-life situations, so that you can learn how to use their language skills to communicate in the real world. I tend to focus on fluency of communication rather than accuracy and lessons are more hands-on than theoretical.
2. Cooperative Language Learning (CLL) - I make the maximum use of cooperative activities involving pairs and small groups of learners in the classroom. As such, it is a student-centered, rather than a teacher-centered, approach to language teaching.
3. Grammar-Translation - This is a very traditional teaching approach which I prioritize translation from the students’ mother tongue into the target language and vice versa. To succeed in this approach, students need to memorize long lists of vocabulary and detailed grammar formats and rules.
