As a tutor, I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable, practical, and personalized. I teach English, including ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), as well as Tagalog. My approach focuses on helping students develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar.
My teaching method is student-centered and interactive. I adjust my lessons according to each student's level, goals, interests, and learning pace. Since I am also passionate about singing, I can incorporate songs and music into lessons to make language learning more enjoyable while improving pronunciation, vocabulary, listening skills, and confidence.
A typical lesson may begin with a short conversation or warm-up activity, followed by vocabulary and grammar practice. Students then apply what they have learned through speaking activities, role-playing, reading, or listening exercises. I always encourage students to actively participate and express themselves without being afraid of making mistakes.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my background in Psychology, which has helped me develop empathy, patience, and a better understanding of different learning needs. I aim to create a supportive and comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged and confident.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, and anyone who wants to improve their English or learn Tagalog.
