About Ayesha
Hello, my name is Teacher Ayesha and I am a qualified TEFL certified teacher with experience working in South East Asia and South Africa.
I completed my TEFL course in Siem Reap, Cambodia, with Destination TEFL and worked at an International School with age groups 4-14 years of age. My experience with teaching in South Africa has been two years with focus on nursery and Montessori teaching styles.
I am extremely passionate about teaching, travelling, adventure, food and love to share my experiences with students that crosses my path.
I strive to radiate a confidence and positivity that my students can feed off of and feel comfortable within their own skin. I encourage mistakes to be made and have a no perfectionism policy !

My methodology to teaching is collaborative, game-based and personalised approached. I strive to set a positive and comfortable environment for my students where they can feel confident in asking for assistance and general questions.
The languages that I am proficient in is English and Afrikaans. With the main focus on teaching the English language, such as grammar, reading, writing and listening.
I teach lessons that are truly tailor made to my student. The way I teach will be informed by them and their ability, the way I structure my questions, the way I might even ask the questions, are all driven by that ability, and where they are in their development of grammatical thinking. My lessons are aimed at students of all levels especially those that are beginners and being introduced to the English language!
