About Kyra
Hi! I'm Kyra, a South African English tutor with a GA Level 5 TEFL Diploma and a qualification in Early Childhood Development.
I have experience working with children in both educational and childcare environments, and I enjoy making learning comfortable, engaging and practical.
I offer online English lessons for children, teenagers and beginner learners. Lessons can focus on reading, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, conversational English, homework support or simply building confidence when speaking English.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging and interactive. I adapt each lesson to the learner rather than using exactly the same approach for everyone.
I believe learning English should feel useful and enjoyable, not like another boring school worksheet!

My lessons are friendly, interactive and personalised to suit each learner’s age, level and individual goals.
For children, I use engaging activities, conversations, reading exercises, games and age-appropriate learning materials to make English enjoyable while developing their confidence. Lessons can focus on reading, phonics, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, speaking and general English skills.
For teenagers and adults, I offer conversational English, pronunciation practice, vocabulary building, grammar support and everyday English. I can also help learners who simply want to feel more confident speaking English.
I understand that every learner learns differently, so I adapt my lessons according to what works best for you. Whether you are starting English from the beginning, preparing for school, improving your speaking skills or looking for extra support, we can create lessons around your needs.
My goal is to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where you feel comfortable learning, asking questions and making mistakes.
Lessons are conducted online, making it easy to learn from the comfort of your own home.
