About Ross

Hi, my name is Ross, and having sat the Leaving Certificate in 2026, I’m now studying engineering at TU Dublin.

Having helped many of my classmates with Leaving Cert Technology and DCG, I understand the areas students often struggle with and how to approach them effectively. By paying particular attention to exam marking schemes and the way marks are awarded, I’ve developed a strong understanding of what examiners are looking for and how to structure answers to maximise marks.

My aim is to break down difficult topics into clear, manageable steps, helping students build confidence in their understanding while developing the practical skills and exam techniques needed to achieve their best possible results.

About the lesson

Leaving Certificate Higher Level Technology Grinds.

Technology can feel like walking into the unknown, with a big project and detailed portfolio, its a daunting subject.

After achieving 400 out of 400 marks in Technology I can help you grasp difficult electrical problems, explain the mechanical questions, and most importantly understand the way the subject is marked.

For the coursework project we'll focus on the portfolio, the most overlooked part of the subject ensuring we don't leave out 25% of your grade. And for the practical part I'm here to offer guidance on design and manufacturing.
