About Samantha
I am an educator, writer, and founder of Samarticles, an education and digital publishing platform that develops study resources and exam preparation materials for students pursuing healthcare careers. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and have extensive experience helping students prepare for academic exams and entrance tests such as the TEAS and HESI.
My background combines education, psychology, and coaching, which allows me to help students not only understand the material but also improve confidence, focus, and test-taking strategies. My lessons are designed to help students build confidence, understand difficult concepts, and perform well on exams. I focus on breaking complex topics down into simple, step-by-step explanations so students can truly understand the material rather than just memorize it.
For students preparing for nursing entrance exams such as the TEAS or HESI, we work through practice questions, review key concepts in reading, math, and science, and develop strategies that improve speed, accuracy, and critical thinking during the test. I also help students strengthen foundational skills like reading comprehension, study strategies, and time management.
Each session is adapted to the student’s needs and learning style. Some students benefit from structured practice problems and exam simulations, while others need concept explanations and guided walkthroughs. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively engaging with the material.
By the end of our sessions, students should feel more confident in their abilities, better prepared for their exams, and equipped with study techniques they can use long after the tutoring sessions are finished.
