About Salma
Hi, I'm Salma! I'm a qualified physics teacher with 10 years of experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Physics to high school students. Throughout my career, I've helped students of different abilities strengthen their understanding of Physics, improve their problem-solving skills, and achieve their academic goals.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and a Master's degree in Genetics, giving me a strong scientific background that complements my teaching. I believe that Physics doesn't have to be intimidating; when concepts are explained clearly and connected to real-life examples, they become much easier to understand and remember.
I'm patient, supportive, and committed to helping every student build confidence in the subject. Whether you're preparing for exams, struggling with a particular topic, or aiming for top grades, I'll tailor each lesson to your individual needs and learning style.

My lessons are highly interactive and student-centered. I use a variety of teaching methods, including visual explanations, simulations, diagrams, real-life examples, and guided problem-solving to make abstract concepts easier to understand. I encourage students to think critically by asking questions and explaining their reasoning, rather than simply following steps.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous learning, followed by introducing or revisiting a concept using clear explanations and examples. We then work through progressively challenging questions together before the student solves problems independently with my guidance. I finish each lesson by identifying areas for improvement and providing targeted practice where needed.
What sets me apart is my 10 years of classroom teaching experience, which has taught me how to break down complex ideas into simple, manageable steps. I tailor every lesson to the student's pace, learning style, and goals, creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
