About Steven

I have been playing competitive chess for 40 years. I’m also a high school mathematics teacher, so I understand patience and the learning process, which I apply to teaching you how to play chess! you will learn chess openings, the basics of middle game, strategy, endgame, strategy, as well as some fun, chess traps along the way.

About the lesson

Teaches all levels of chess from beginners to advanced, whether you play for fun, casual competition, or very competitive tournament play. Take things step by step anf focus on why things work, and the principles behind everything we’re doing. You’ll learn openings, middle game, strategy, and endgame principles.
