About Richard
My first goal is to make you feel comfortable. I like a casual environment that puts you at ease. We are here to have fun and at the same time become awesome musicians! Well before I went to music school I was trying to figure out how to play guitar myself, I know whats its like to get frustrated. Every student is different and I think it's important to to not take a "one size fits all approach". Now after decades of playing music around the world it has given me a great perspective and enhanced my teaching!

I have 30 years of playing guitar/mandolin. Im currently a performing musician and teacher. I play Rock, Jazz, Bluegrass and folk music. I play both acoustic as well as electric guitar. I have over 10 years of mandolin experience. I graduated with a BA in Music in the year 2000.
