About Reshma

I have been teaching in school for 12 years and personal tuitions for 8 years.
There were more than 50 students in a single class.
Have been working with them on Accountancy and Statistics with many of them doing CA i.e. chartered accountant. Some of them are doing individual practice too.

About the lesson

Ambitious and empathic educational professional with 12 years of hands on classroom experience.
Have also taken classes for 11th and 12th graders for 8 years.

Committed to the cultivation of a well-balanced and supportive learning environment where child
receives the personal attention that s/he needs and deserves.

While teaching I make the goals clear and insist on practicing the sums, present all the instructions visually step by step and regularly check for understanding. Usually I prepare lesson plan and try to visually represent along with lots of examples of the same type so that the basic concept enters the mind and they get the confidence to do the sums on their own. Pair and share creates energy in the room following direct instruction. Hence if more than one student present I pair them to practice.

I have known Reshma Shah for 8 years. She has been one of my greatest supporters throughout school life. She was my class teacher in 11th and 12th grade and she also taught us accountancy.
Its because of her class that I fell in love with the subject. She explained all the concepts with ease and in a way that made it fun.
She was also my backbone for school life. Whenever I had any problems, I would go to her for advice, knowing she'd always want the best for me.
She helped me through a tough time in school and I made smart decisions under her.
She is truly a great teacher as her professionalism is worth mention. She is very organised, kind, and tough when required.
Anybody who learns from her will be in a very beneficial position.
Feel free to contact me if required at jainshreyaa8@gmail.com.
Thank you.

I have known Reshma for 7 years now and have interacted with her on daily basis.
During and after my school I have come to know about Reshma very well not only as an Accounts professor but also as a mentor who has guided me all the way along.
She is kind, extremely creative, organised, hardworking and loves to teach and share her knowledge. It was a pleasure learning from her.
There has always been a spark in her eyes when it comes to teaching.
An important aspect about Reshma's interaction with students is that she has the ability to answer questions and along with taking interest in students projects and assignments she is has an ability to make her students practice the right quality and quantity required.
She has been my backbone even after my 12 grade. She has encouraged and supported my ideas and my future goals.

I have personally benefited from learning under her and sincerely hope that her efforts as a teacher and an adviser will work magic there too.

Yours sincerely,
Tania Punjabi
