About Serelia Gisela
I proudly hail from the beautiful town of Knysna. I hold a BA in Development and Environmental Studies, along with a PGCE (FET) both completed at the University of Stellenbosch. In addition to these qualifications, I also obtained an ESL certification. I have mentored and taught in indoor as well as outdoor classroom settings. As an outdoor instructor I gained soft and hard skills, team building, wilderness survival to name but a few. I taught Geography for 1 year 4 months for students aged 13 to 16. I believe that the knowledge and activities bank to accommodate different learning styles.

Hello everyone! My lessons cater to different learning styles, preferences for all ages. In my role as instructor and teacher I had a great responsibility for the well-being of my students. As a tutor my aim is to guide students through the challenging areas in this subject field of Geography. From guiding the participants to seeing them overcome these challenging areas all while fostering their growth. Whether it is indoor or an outdoor classroom setting this subject prepares a learner for life after school studies. The example of navigation and mapwork is a challenge at school level.

Perfect! Wonderful well prepared, well organised and knowledgeable tutor. She helped my daughter a lot through in person and remote lessons and practice papers.
- Student has strong indigenous knowledge of Grade 9 Geography Map Skills.This was a positive because it increased the tempo at which the first lesson went.The student has a optimistic approach and is eagerly asking questions to indicate that she can recall as well as apply what has been taught to her.
