About Favour
I am currently in my first year studying Pharmacy; In sixth form, I studied Biology, Chemistry and French for A levels. In my GCSEs I got an 8 in French, a 9 in Italian (as a native speaker) and a 7 in English literature.

Each lesson will be focused on 2 of the 4 main areas: Writing, Speaking, Reading and Listening. For the writing, we will start by doing small tasks where we will work on the student's vocabulary. Then later go onto seeing what their writing is like and understanding what makes a good essay or what they could add to improve their writing to reach a strong grade 6, 7, 8 or 9. For the speaking, I will start by asking basic questions at the start of the lesson, like how old they are or what they did yesterday; this can focus on the student's pronunciation, then move forward to simulating tests. For the reading, I would typically ask the student to read the extracts out loud (to work on their speaking) then ask them what they understood and to translate a paragraph of what they just read (later we move onto answering the reading comprehension questions). Lastly, for the listening, I suggest and teach them the best method to do well. Also, the vocabulary becomes incredibly important at this stage because what you have learnt will surely come up. Any incomplete tasks that we did not get to will be given as homework.
