About Claire

My name is Claire, I am 22yrs old and South African. English is my first language. I have a 150 Hour of Advanced TEFL Course. I completed high school in 2018 and began my BA in Visual Communication Design degree and graduated at the end of 2021. I have experience with tutoring and au pairing. I have a learning disability however that has never stopped me from achieving all my goals, and you can too.

About the lesson

I like to use a lot of verbal and written activities with students. I have a learning disability so I can understand when a student needs extra help in any way. I teach in English and am able to teach English.

I would first start by finding out where the student is battling in, go over a few examples to get a full idea. From there, start with activities best suited for the student. And hopefully, over time their English improves.

I am looking for students who need to learn English as a foreign language- speech, spelling, sentence construction, etc.
