So far, I have gained valuable knowledge and practical understanding of four important electrical and security systems: CCTV, solar power systems, intercom systems, and fire alarm systems.

1. CCTV System
I have learned about different types of CCTV cameras, including IP cameras, and how they are used for security and surveillance. I have also gained knowledge of Network Video Recorders (NVRs), Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches, and the different cables used in camera installation. I understand the basic connections between cameras, recording devices, and monitoring equipment.

2. Solar Power System
I have gained knowledge of the basic components of a solar power system, including solar panels, charge controllers, batteries, and inverters. I have learned how to calculate electrical loads, estimate energy consumption, select suitable inverter and battery capacities, and understand the importance of proper cable sizing and circuit breakers.

3. Intercom System
I have learned the basic principles of intercom systems and how they enable communication between different rooms, offices, or buildings. I have also gained an understanding of audio and video intercom systems, their applications, basic installation procedures, and the importance of proper connections for effective communication.

4. Fire Alarm System
I have gained an understanding of the purpose of fire alarm systems in detecting fire and warning occupants of potential danger. I have learned about the basic components, including smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, alarm sounders, and the fire alarm control panel. I also understand the importance of proper installation, regular testing, and maintenance to ensure the system operates effectively.

Overall, the knowledge I have gained so far has improved my understanding of electrical, security, communication, and safety systems. I am developing the technical skills needed to install, troubleshoot, and maintain these systems. I look forward to gaining more practical experience and improving my competence in these areas.
