About Malikah

Hi everyone, I’m Miss Hussain, and I’m a newly qualified Business teacher with a real passion for this subject. I’ve studied Business at university and completed my PGCE training, and I’m now excited to support you on your journey through GCSE or A-Level Business. Why I Want to Teach Business I chose to teach Business because it’s a subject that connects directly to real life. Every day, we see businesses making decisions about marketing, finance, operations, HR, and strategy — and I love helping students understand how and why those decisions happen. I enjoy breaking down tricky topics, using real-world examples, and helping each student build confidence. Business is a subject where you can ask questions, debate ideas, and develop skills that truly matter for the future — from problem-solving to decision-making. Most importantly, I want you to feel supported, challenged, and inspired. My goal is to help you achieve your best, enjoy the subject, and see the bigger picture of how Business works in the real world.

About the lesson

I tutor both A-Level and GCSE Business Studies, offering personalised support tailored to your child’s needs. I will complete a series of assessments with them and identify any subject knowledge gaps using a clear RAG-rating system. From this, I will create targeted lesson plans to build their confidence and skills. My tutoring covers both AQA and Edexcel exam boards and includes structured exam-practice support, model answers, and guidance on how to approach different question types. We will work through the units in a logical order, ensuring full understanding of theory, application, analysis, and evaluation — all aligned with exam-board expectations.
