About Keira
With 14 years of tutoring experience, I specialise in teaching French to high school and college students and have helped 150–200 students succeed academically. My teaching philosophy is based on clear communication and steady learning. I believe students learn best when lessons are broken down into simple steps and practised regularly.
I focus on grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and speaking skills to build strong foundations. I personalise lessons according to the student’s syllabus, level, and academic goals.
I support students with exam preparation, coursework, and daily practice. I also provide regular feedback to track improvement. One of my proud achievements is helping students gain confidence and improve their grades in French. Many students now approach the language with interest and confidence.

My teaching approach to French focuses on real communication and everyday use of the language. I use real-life examples and simple case studies such as travel conversations, social interactions, academic discussions, and workplace communication to make learning practical. I keep my lessons flexible and adjust them according to each student’s learning pace and personal goals.
Collaboration is encouraged through interactive conversations, role-plays, and guided speaking activities that build fluency and confidence. Compassion is central to my teaching style, and I create a supportive environment where students feel safe to practise and improve.
Along with French, I also teach grammar, vocabulary building, pronunciation practice, reading comprehension, writing skills, conversational French, cultural awareness, and exam preparation.
