About Aris
With 13 years of experience teaching saxophone to college students, I aim to make music learning clear, enjoyable, and effective. My teaching style is supportive and structured, focusing on steady improvement and confidence building. Each lesson is planned to match the student’s pace and goals.
I train students in tone quality, breathing technique, scales, rhythm, and expressive performance. Along with technical exercises, I encourage creative practice through improvisation and musical exploration. Real-life music examples help students understand practical application.
I use modern learning tools such as recording feedback, play-along tracks, and progress-based practice plans. I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and listening skills to strengthen musical understanding.
My lessons create a positive environment where students feel motivated and supported. Whether you aim to perform publicly or play for personal enjoyment, I guide you with patience and clarity.

My teaching methodology for Saxophone is focused on clarity, creativity, and discipline. I believe learning music should be enjoyable but well-organized. Lessons begin with developing strong fundamentals such as breathing technique, tone production, posture, and finger movement.
Creativity is introduced through improvisation, melody creation, and exploring different musical styles. I guide students as a mentor, helping them understand their strengths and areas for improvement. Critical thinking is developed by encouraging students to listen carefully and solve musical problems independently.
Accountability is maintained through clear practice goals, regular feedback, and progress evaluations. Students learn consistency and responsibility. In addition to Saxophone, I also teach supporting subjects like Music Theory, Scale Practice, Rhythm Exercises, and Ear Training to help students grow as complete musicians.
