About Amarpal
I am an AI professional who is passionate about teaching! I am currently pursuing an AI PhD at the University of Bristol (2020 - present) and have experience in teaching AI / Machine Learning on multiple master's courses at the University. I am looking to extend my teaching to 1:1 tutoring so I can have a bigger impact on student learning. I will use the experience I have gained through university teaching and my AI PhD to boost your learning. Outside of my PhD I have completed an MSci Physics degree (Imperial) and have 5 years of Financial Services work experience (Goldman Sachs). I am happy to support students if they have interests in these areas too!

My primary offering is teaching Machine Learning and AI. I am also happy to teach Maths and Physics depending on the specific level requested. I offer a free 30 minute consultation and a free 45 minute lesson for every student. In the consultation we will create a tailored learning plan for you based on your experience, goals and interests. You also have the opportunity to ask me any questions before we proceed to the free 45 minute lesson. We cover the theory of machine learning from regression problems to classification and unsupervised learning. You will learn about tree models, deep learning models and much more! You will gain experience on real world datasets and have the opportunity to guide your learning in whichever direction you wish! Previous students have had success implementing real world projects from football analytics to stock price prediction and more. You are learning from a PhD candidate with years of experience in teaching AI and ML at the university level. I will draw on this experience to give you the best lessons! Additionally you are welcome to draw on my experience in Physics (MSci degree) and Finance (5 years experience at Goldman Sachs) if you have interest in those areas!
