About Arwen
I am an experienced piano teacher with more than 7 years of teaching experience. My lessons are offered both online and in person. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a focus on pedagogy.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes sight-reading fluency and careful score analysis. Students learn how to understand musical structure and interpret classical repertoire with confidence. This builds both technical skill and artistic awareness.
Every lesson is adapted to the needs of the individual student. I integrate music theory, music history, and finger exercises to strengthen technique and understanding. These elements help students develop complete musicianship.
I also discuss historical performance practices when studying classical works. This helps students understand style and interpretation.
My teaching experience includes beginners, advanced learners, and professional pianists. Each student receives patient and focused instruction.

Expressive interpretation is developed through phrasing, dynamics, and tone shaping. Finger exercises and technical drills support musical execution and control. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and goals.
I work with students from beginner to advanced levels, including composers and those seeking music for therapeutic purposes. Instruction is patient, structured, and focused on musical growth.
