About Niall
I’m someone who genuinely enjoys making mental health feel clear, approachable, and easy to talk about. I have my own lived experience within the mental health system, which helps me explain sensitive topics in a grounded, human way. I also have a wide range of knowledge around mental health conditions and treatment options, built through years of learning and guest lecturing on a Clinical Psychology Doctorate. I firmly believe education should be for all, regardless of your skill level, and I bring that mindset into every session.
My aim is to help you understand mental health and different conditions without pressure, judgment, or overwhelming theory. Whether you’re completely new to the subject or looking to deepen your understanding, I’ll meet you where you are and adapt everything to your pace so you feel confident and reassured.

I keep my lessons relaxed, inclusive, and non‑judgmental. We chat about what you need and what’s worked for you before, then build sessions around your pace and interests. My focus is on mental health and understanding different conditions in a clear, down‑to‑earth way, without overwhelming theory or jargon.
I spent 2021–2026 as a guest lecturer on a Clinical Psychology Doctorate, teaching alongside psychologists and supporting trainees with research and study skills. I mostly work with adults but I’m happy to teach under‑18s too. I’m disability‑friendly and always adapt lessons to your communication style, access needs, or learning preferences.
