About Jekaterina
Hi!
I am Katya and I am a Russian native speaker from Lithuania. I am passionate about languages, travel, learning about other cultures and sharing mine. That's why I love teaching languages!
I speak Russian, English, Lithuanian and I am currently learning French and Spanish - you are not alone on your language learning journey :)
I have lived in the UK for over 5 years and have recently moved to France. I have a degree in Astrophysics and I worked as an engineer and a mental health practitioner in England and in Scotland.
In my free time I like to do arts and crafts, I love film photography, books and I enjoy going to various art-related events.

I am a compassionate, kind and supportive teacher. I focus on all parts of language learning (speaking, listening, writing, reading) and I am planning the lessons according to the interests and needs of every student.
I believe speaking is very important and it might be the most intimidating part of learning a language for many people! I try to help my students get used to speaking as early as possible and become more confident with time :)
