About Elizabeth
I am a dedicated Guitar tutor with 6 years of experience, having taught over 300 students. I work with high school and college learners, creating lessons that are personalised, interactive, and engaging. My approach emphasises both technical skills and creativity, helping students develop a strong foundation while exploring their musical voice.
A milestone I value highly is mentoring students to perform successfully at college events and competitions, seeing their confidence and growth unfold. I focus on nurturing self-expression, discipline, and performance skills, aiming to make learning Guitar an inspiring and enjoyable journey for every student.

My guitar teaching methodology is focused on helping students learn in a clear, honest, and organised way. I use communication to explain guitar basics such as chords, scales, strumming, rhythm, and finger placement in simple language. Clear explanation helps students understand lessons easily and practise without confusion.
I encourage accountability by helping students create regular practice routines and set achievable goals. I guide them on how to practise effectively and review their progress often. Integrity is very important in my teaching. I make sure students learn correct posture, hand positioning, and musical fundamentals so they build strong and reliable skills.
Each lesson is planned based on the student’s level, pace, and musical interests. I include exercises, rhythm training, and song learning to make lessons practical and enjoyable. I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, and basic songwriting to support overall musical development.
My teaching style is patient, friendly, and supportive. I help students grow in confidence and enjoy their guitar learning journey.
