About Jasmine
I’m currently studying for a Master’s degree in Osteopathy, building on my strong foundation in A Level Biology, Psychology, and Physical Education. My passion for teaching comes from a genuine enjoyment of helping others understand and connect with subjects I love. I find it incredibly rewarding to see students grow in confidence and grasp concepts they once found challenging. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge in a meaningful way, and I enjoy creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and ultimately succeeding.

My Approach to Tutoring Using Memory Techniques As a tutor, I focus on helping students not just understand information but retain it effectively using proven memory techniques. I incorporate methods such as spaced repetition, active recall, and mnemonics to boost long-term memory and understanding. I encourage students to engage with the material through visual aids, mind maps, and association techniques, making learning more interactive and memorable. For example, when teaching complex biological processes or psychological theories, I guide students to break down concepts into manageable parts and use creative analogies or acronyms to aid recall. I also support students in developing their own study strategies tailored to their learning style, helping them become more independent and confident learners. My goal is to make learning not only effective but enjoyable and empowering.
