About Asanka
I am a qualified and committed Sinhala Language tutor with a strong academic and professional background. I hold a Master of Laws (LLM), an Attorney-at-Law in Sri Lanka, and have a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (Special). My passion for teaching Sinhala stems from a deep respect for the language and Sri Lankan heritage, which I strive to share with every student in an engaging and supportive environment.

Are you looking for a dedicated Sinhala tutor to support your child's language learning journey? I'm a passionate and experienced Sinhala teacher with over 8 years of teaching experience in Australia. I currently teach Sinhala from Year 7 to Year 12 (VCE) at the Victorian School of Languages, and I'm proud to share that my students were the highest VCE Sinhala scorers in Victoria in both 2022 and 2024.
I offer engaging Sinhala lessons for students from Year 2 to Year 12, catering to all proficiency levels. My teaching approach combines effective language techniques with a deep appreciation of Sri Lankan culture, poetry, and traditions to make learning fun and meaningful.
