About Rachel
I am a qualified Support for Learning teacher based in Edinburgh and Fife, working at primary level. I am passionate about helping children feel confident, capable and proud of their learning, especially those who may find school challenging. I chose to teach because I love seeing pupils grow in confidence when learning is explained in a way that truly works for them. I enjoy building positive relationships with my learners and supporting them to reach their potential at their own pace.

I offer supportive, friendly tutoring that is carefully tailored to each child’s needs. As a Support for Learning teacher in Edinburgh, I have extensive experience supporting primary pupils with dyslexia, dyscalculia and a wide range of additional support needs. My lessons are structured, engaging and confidence-building, using proven literacy and numeracy interventions while adapting approaches to suit each learner’s strengths and learning style.
