High-achieving and tutoring experienced undergrad at the University of Oxford, studying for Theology and Religion, with a great interest in religious studies, literature and philosophy.

I adapt my teaching style according to you, and thus lessons are very personal, and at whatever pace needed. For example, if you cannot digest large pieces of info, we will tackle content differently, with more visual exercises.
I also have a range of exemplar responses and study materials on hand.
I am easy to talk to, and I am confident in teaching for both A Level and GCSE, as well as both content and exam practice.
I recieved a grade 9 (highest grade equivalent to A**) in GCSE Religious Studies and History (as well as in 4 other subjects).
My specialised religions are Christianity, Catholic Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism.

-I tend to cover a mix of content and exam practice, depending on your needs.
-Engaging tasks that test knowledge and understanding without any pressure or expectation- I work with you, not against you!
-E.g. if you struggle with writing or dyslexia, I can make many of the tasks discussion/verbal based, so that you can still access teaching, just in a different format!
-Top exam results and knowledge of the Oxbridge application process.
Lateness policy:
*Life happens, and I will never shame you if you are late to a session!*
**However, lessons will always finish at the allocated time, regardless of your late arrival**
*I have a 1/4 grace period (see below)**
**If you are more than 1/4 of the lesson time late to the session (e.g. 15 mins in a 1 hour lesson), then I will no longer be available for the rest of the session, unless you have messaged beforehand or during the grace period**
**In extenuating circumstances, such as illness, emergency, technical issues e.c.t. I will transfer lesson 'credit' from a missed session, to a future lesson. This means that you will not have had to pay for a lesson you could not attend. Please just speak to me!**
**However, if missing a full session/ passing the grace period becomes a frequent occurrence, I will not transfer lesson credit, and you will have to pay for the missed time as normal**

Perfect! Emily is an amazing RS tutor. She has helped my daughter improve her confidence for RS GCSE over the past 2 years, and has made brilliant resources for her. Emily is incredibly encouraging and kind and knowledgeable. She is completely reliable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for an outstanding RS tutor.

My daughter worked with Emily offline on year 12 religious studies, and we organised this through superprof. My daughter always left the lessons more confident, and felt able to ask Emily questions without being judged. I would definitely reccomend her!
Emily always provides detailed and accessible course material, using non-course-based examples to make exam technique more clear. She adapts the speed and depth of her lessons to the needs of the student, and provides extra resources that students are unable to access (e.g. that of other teachers!)
